LIGHT – Full sun, partial sun; shade during the harsh afternoon sun

WATER - Water deeply and regularly when dry.

SOIL – Needs well drained cactus soil

COLD TOLERANCE - Thrives outdoors year-round only in the very warmest regions (zones 9 to 10). In other areas, aloe grows best indoors as a houseplant, with some growers moving them outdoors for summer.

DORMANCY - Winter

SIZE – Up to almost 7 feet tall

FLOWERS – Reddish-orange flowers atop 16" tall racemes in summer

PROPAGATION – Cuttings, seed
