🌵
Crassula arborescens undulatifolia, commonly known as Ripple Jade, is one of the most elegant and architectural members of the jade family. Native to South Africa, this distinctive succulent is prized for its thick blue-green leaves with gently undulating margins that give the plant a graceful, sculptural appearance unlike the flatter foliage of traditional jade plants. Over time it develops sturdy woody trunks and naturally branching canopies, creating the look of a miniature tree shaped by years of wind and weather. This mature specimen already displays multiple trunks with beautifully balanced branching and a full crown of healthy foliage, giving it the quiet presence of a well-established bonsai. Easy to grow yet highly refined in appearance, Ripple Jade is equally at home as a striking container specimen or as part of a serious succulent collection where its timeless form only becomes more beautiful with age.

Collector Notes
Although often overshadowed by the common jade plant, Crassula arborescens undulatifolia is widely considered one of the most refined species in the genus. Its softly rippled foliage, naturally woody trunks, and elegant branching habit give mature specimens an unmistakable presence. Well-grown plants such as this become increasingly sculptural over the years, making them prized additions to both succulent collections and bonsai-inspired container gardens.
