🌵 Care Instructions

☀️ Light:
Provide bright indirect light to gentle sun. Variegated areas contain less chlorophyll and can be more sensitive, so protect from intense afternoon sun. Acclimate gradually when increasing light exposure.

💧 Water:
Water deeply only when soil is completely dry. Reduce watering significantly during cooler months.

🌱 Soil:
Use a fast-draining cactus mix with plenty of mineral material such as pumice, lava rock, or perlite.

🌡️ Temperature:
Protect from frost. Astrophytum asterias prefers warm, dry conditions and should be protected below approximately 40°F.
