LIGHT – Full sun to partial shade
 
WATER - Regular water during winter.  Less water in summer.    Extremely drought tolerant in summer.  Needs winter rains.
 
SOIL – Needs well drained soil
 
COLD TOLERANCE - Zone 9b - 11b.  Not frost hardy.
 
DORMANCY - Summer

SIZE - Thick, caudiciform trunk - grows up to 2-3 feet tall

FLOWERS - Blooms in summer when mostly leafless - yellow flowers
