LIGHT – Full sun to partial shade. Care of hot afternoon sun which can burn the leaves. Morning sun, afternoon shade is ideal.

WATER - Spring to early fall, water moderately; Autumn/winter, 1-2/month. Allow the soil to dry out before watering again.

SOIL – Very porous, even rocky, well drained soil. Rocky quartz fields are their natural habitat.

COLD TOLERANCE - Zones 10a – 11b

DORMANCY – Summer

SIZE – Up to 3 feet tall x 2 feet wide

FLOWERS – In winter look for clusters of small, star-shaped pink-tinged flowers.
